S.T.R.I.V.E.

Posted by Janelle Brown on

The dictionary defines strive as ‘to make strenuous efforts toward any goal.’ While that is certainly what we intend to do here, I had a much different idea in mind when I conceived STRIVE with Janelle. To me, the word strive signifies a constant forward motion, never settling where you are and always working to be better. For me, S.T.R.I.V.E. means:

  • Strength
  • Tenacity
  • Resilience
  • Integrity
  • Vision
  • Endurance

Yes, the meaning of STRIVE comes from the energy and significance of all those words. I believe in them and I am creating an interactive community where we can all share our ‘trial and error’ conversations and journeys with each other. STRIVE is the place where we open ourselves up to tell our stories of achievements and obstacles, enjoy common sense tips and tools, and learn from each other’s real-life lessons, questions and answers.

Soon, STRIVE will offer all kinds of content: informational articles, instructional videos, quotes, special events, meal plans and access to STRIVE coaches. It is something I’m so passionate about, something I’ve wanted to bring to life for many years, and I can’t wait to share more of my experiences with you. Get ready to hear from me!

That’s honestly my favorite part. I look forward to meeting you in person. STRIVE is about setting reasonable short and long-term goals, and giving it our all to create long-lasting health and well-being, and I look forward to being with you every step of the way.

What does STRIVE mean to you and how can we help you achieve your goals? Share in the comments!

Months after giving birth I became pregnant again and was truly excited.I lost the baby and was not able to get pregnant again.I soon found out I had hypothyroidism.Tired depressed and balloned up to 218lbs. My thyroid evels are good now.I am in a good place mentally.I have a beautiful 23 year old daughter and a beatuful 10 yr. old daughter and an Angel Baby in heaven.I need to be healthy for me and for them.I’m ready to do change!
